Dr Nigel Baker is a field archaeologist with more than thirty years’ experience, based in the Shrewsbury area. Although a historic towns specialist, day-to-day work includes historic building assessments, desk-based archaeological assessments, watching-briefs and excavations for community groups, and occasional archaeological evaluations. Recent clients include Historic England, the National Trust, local house-builders, architects and property owners.
